Hirschfield International Film Series: The Oldest Person in the World

A ten-year worldwide exploration tracks successive holders of the oldest living person title.

A study of longevity transforms into reflection on time’s flow, fate’s unpredictability, and the joy of human existence. “For a movie so filled with death, The Oldest Person in the World is surprisingly, almost confrontationally life-affirming.” – Vulture “A soft and gentle hug of a film, one that reifies life’s most sacred values while retaining the essential mystery behind our most pressing questions.” – ScreenRant
