Step into Renoir’s Paris with a new Exhibition on Screen film built around the National Gallery’s Renoir and Love exhibition.
Pierre-Auguste Renoir helped found the Impressionist movement and never stopped evolving as an artist. With access to the National Gallery’s Renoir and Love exhibition, Exhibition on Screen brings his work to the big screen: sunlit Parisian streets, intimate portraits, and a painter’s lifelong pursuit of joy.
This is both a biography of one of art’s giants and a look at how Renoir helped bridge the art world’s old order and the new. Directed by Ali Ray. Running time is 90 minutes.
